Elephant was born in 1989, when the leadership, who were then fresh graduates from NID (National Institute of Design, Ahemdabad), decided to start their own firm. Each of them perceives design differently, this is the secret of their cohesive strength and the reason they decided to call the firm Elephant, being inspired by the story of the blind men who each perceived the Elephant differently.
