Design Summit in India

A Design Summit was held in New Delhi in December 2004 to focus on "design as a business strategy". Commerce and Industry Minister Mr. Kamal Nath inaugurated the summit.
The objective of this summit hosted by CII and NID was to bring together Indian corporates, academic researchers, development institutions, the design community and policy makers on a joint platform, to share knowledge and experience on the role of design in business strategy.
